Survival Release
We are proud to announce the release of our survival server on August 31st! After three months of dedicated work, we are thrilled to finally share our electrifying survival experience with you. JoltMC is designed to provide a truly enhanced survival experience, featuring unique enchantments, a completely player-run economy, and many other exciting features that set us apart. Our goal has been to create a server that not only challenges your creativity and skills but also fosters a vibrant and engaging community.
Our custom enchantments system, aims to incorporate new enchantments to the game while still having a vanilla feel to them. The player-run economy is designed to give you the ultimate freedom and control, enabling you to trade, buy, and sell items in a dynamic marketplace where your choices have a real impact. We have also incorporated a variety of other features, including jobs, unique quests, and special events that will keep you entertained and engaged.
In addition to these core features, we have put a significant emphasis on community involvement. Our dedicated staff team is always available to assist you, whether you need technical support, have gameplay inquiries, or want to participate in server-related matters. We believe that the strength of our server lies in its community, and we are committed to providing a friendly and supportive environment for all players.
The Economy
The economy has been meticulously designed to be entirely player-driven. Unlike traditional server economies where shops can dominate and control the flow of items and currency, we have shifted the power entirely to the players. Our server shop operates on a buy-only basis, meaning it does not sell items to players, thereby preventing it from competing with player-run businesses. Additionally, the selection of items available in the server shop is intentionally kept very limited. The limited stock, means that each player has the opportunity to dominate a portion of the economy, by selling whatever they want. By doing this we hope to foster a market environment where player ingenuity and entrepreneurship thrive, we ensure a dynamic and engaging economic experience. This setup not only promotes a sense of community but also adds layers of strategy and negotiation, making the in-game economy a living, breathing entity shaped by its participants.
Enchantments
Similar to other servers, we have custom enchantments. All of which are meant to enhance the experience. Enchantments can be obtained from a normal enchantment table, there are a few enchantments that are only obtainable from the amber traders. Some of the enchantments we have are Veinminer (mines 14 blocks in a vein), Telekenisis (dropped items go into your inventory), Wisdom (more experience is dropped), and Replenish (automatically replants crops). Amber Economy
To level the playing field between donors and non-donors, we have incorporated a unique physical item economy into our gameplay, centered around Ambers. This system ensures that all players, regardless of their financial contributions to the server, have the opportunity to earn valuable rewards through active participation and engagement. Ambers can be obtained through several different methods, each designed to encourage various forms of interaction and contribution within the community.
Firstly, players can earn Ambers by voting for the server on server listing sites. This not only helps promote our server but also rewards players for their support in expanding our community. Additionally, Ambers can be found in crates. Another engaging way to earn Ambers is through our Pinata Party events, where players work together to break a pinata filled with Ambers and other goodies. The Pinata Party event will start when a vote goal has been reached.
Once players have earned enough Ambers, they can trade them in for a variety of valuable items. This includes rare items that enhance gameplay, such as crate keys, enchantments, giftcards, and rare Minecraft items.
Jobs & Quests
Jobs provide a great opportunity for players to earn money on our server. You can join different roles such as Farmer, Miner, or Enchanter, each offering unique tasks that reward you for your efforts. As a Farmer, you can earn money by cultivating crops. As a Miner, you can delve deep into the world to mine for valuable ores and earn your keep. Enchanters, on the other hand, make money by creating items with powerful enchantments. By default, players can hold up to 2 jobs, while donor ranks allow for additional jobs.
In addition to jobs, our quests have been entirely custom-made to provide an engaging and rewarding experience. These quests offer players the chance to earn not only money but also Ambers and other unique items. Each quest is carefully crafted to present a variety of challenges, from short combat missions to longer quests.
AFK Cave
We have also implemented a system that rewards players for being AFK on the server. While you can still AFK at your farms, we offer a special incentive for those who AFK in the designated cave area. By doing so, you can earn AFK coins, which can be accumulated over time. These AFK coins can then be traded in for AFK keys, unlocking a variety of exciting rewards. This system encourages players to stay engaged with the server even during downtime, providing a steady stream of benefits for their commitment.
